Ukraine keeps winning so hard that the amount of videos of busification is only increasing .
U/BabylonianWeeb did you approve this post yourself to get around the Ad Fontes bot? Just wondering because I’ve had so many posts from reputable sources removed by that bot and pravda.ua is pure propaganda.
To all the tankies downvoting this but celebrating whenever Russia kills civilians while at the same time saying “well they must have targeted military facilities”: take a good, long, hard look at yourself and ask yourselves if you’re a decent person, if it’s possible that maybe you’re not a good guy in this story, or *any* story, really.
Three years into the war are we still huffing that hardcore copium? Are we heading back to the narrative that Ukraine will be in Moscow in six weeks?
I truly hope one doesn’t have to be a Russo-phile to discredit garbage numbers like these.
Russia has lose gajillion soldier in 1 hour and million of tank in 5 minute they also run out of missile and forced to use bare hand to attack the cancer hospital and orphanage, they even ask malnourished porn addict North Korean to fight because they run out manpower.
Ukrainians are killing so many russians and destroying so much vehicles, that they feel sorry for russians and as a good gesture giving them land
>Russia loses 990 soldiers and 17 artillery systems over the past day
(Borat voice) Woah woah woah Gorillion Russians killed in the past 24 hrs, great success
The biggest problem with that kind of article is that they take the word “casualty” in the broadest term possible.
There is no difference between a soldier killed, a soldier crippled for life, a soldier being wounded for a couple of months or a soldier being slightly wounded but combat capable the next day.
They’re all casualties, but some of them are absolutely not comparable to others. You can expect a significant portion of that casualty number to be just a “recycled” number of soldiers being slightly wounded but still back in action shortly after. So ultimately one Russian soldier could be counted as a casualty 3/4 times before he’s ultimately KIA or not present any-more on the battlefield.
The other issue with those articles is that they’re mostly performative, they will inflate the numbers though I’d say they’re not utterly outlandish. In the past few days Russia increased the rate at which it was conquering Ukrainian territory so we can indeed expect more losses due to a battlefield that is slightly more active.
What is outlandish however, is how Ukraine presents Russian losses compared to theirs. I do not know what Russia claims but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re making the same crazy claims. Last year I remember Zelensky saying that Ukraine had a 1:5 KIA ratio, he then claimed it was a 1:6 ratio a few months later.
If we look at the most “credible” data in regards to confirmed KIA on both sides, the ratio is more of a 1:1.5 in favor of Ukraine. If we count the MIA, it’s closer to a 1:1.1. So, not too shabby but it paints a much sombre picture.
I don’t really care about any of what you said, my point was that you’re boasting about “winning” a war against Ukraine is like punching a patient on life support and then beating your chest about it. It’s embarrassing.
edit: also, Ukraine, top economy in Europe? I thought we’re at least trying to seem serious 😀
Propaganda is bad for truth, not bad by itself.
And how is it useful to know that’s it’s propaganda ? It doesnt give any useful information if we have to doubt every word in it
It’s creepy coming across Russian sympathizers in the wild. I mean, here on reddit you’re dealing with people who aren’t so easily misinformed. We are talking folks that know exactly what kind of awful shit the Russians have been doing and at best don’t care and at worst *like it.* Fucking uck.
Anyhow, the veracity of these casualities notwithstanding – videos of Russians on the front lines using donkeys and crutches is not left to doubt. It would be foolish to conclude Russia is going strong when they are literally using battle-karts to advance on the Ukranians.
And they are advancing, sadly. Ukraine is kicking Russia’s ass…there’s just too much ass to kick. Even with such losses being inflicted Russia continues its ghastly conquest. Which is why all good-hearted people in the world need to keep up their support for Ukraine.
