I'm in a WhatsApp dog group with dog owners around Victoria Park and a XL Bully has attacked a Golden Retriever on the Hertford Union Canal (opposite side of the park) and it turns out it was the same XL Bully that has already attacked a horse last year – this is the half brained owner with the quote "“I reciprocate energy." if folks remember.

Apparently the dog ran out of its house and two people tried to call it back in -either they were the owners or flatmates of the owners – but they did nothing to physically intervene and the dog was not wearing a collar to yank on.

So dog owners please be careful with your dogs around that area!

  1. Poor retriever – how the hell was that cretin allowed to keep owning animals, let alone that dog, after what happened?

  2. Pocket sand for protection, it’s a bit windy though so don’t get it in your own eyes.

  3. Has the incident been reported to the police? That dog needs to be destroyed and the owner in prison. There was zero question this would happen again with such an irresponsible moron of an owner.
