  1. It would have meant taking time out of his day to do his job

  2. GOP in “the beg for forgiveness, rather that ask for permission” phase

  3. Of course the GOP members did not read the bill; just like the Bible.

  4. They no longer make decisions, they are doing what they are told to do

  5. “for many in the room, it was the last straw”

No, they will continue to vote for Republicans who don’t read the bill.

  6. Now it’s a good thing to be openly only catch is that it only works for the prez.

  7. It’s not like it was a big secret. It was openly talked about. Ignorance is not a good defense.

  8. It’s only what he’s paid to do, if we did that we’d be fired

  9. I’m sure the majority of them didn’t read the bill, it was over 1100 pages. They probably listened to the media highlight the main points. Unf’ingbelievable 🤬

  10. This is kind of on the public to be fair. We are Americans dammit! We don’t read! You can’t expect the smooth brains in politics to read things! Words scary! Word make Grog head hurt.

  11. MAGA is reaping what they’ve been sowing. They voted for candidates who competed against each other to find out who could be the biggest Trump simp and for a whole lot of them, their entire platform was “Trump is daddy and I’ll do whatever daddy tells me to do”. Now they’re finding out that it has direct repercussions to them personally and they’re not so stoked about it. But they were warned, over and over again. I’m all out of sympathy for them.

  12. “I believe in the rule of law. I’ve taken an oath as an attorney, I’ve taken an oath as a state senator, I’ve taken an oath as a member of Congress, and I support our court system, and I do believe that the federal district courts, when issuing an injunction, should have legal effect,”

You can learn what kind of person someone is far more by their actions than what they say. This man does not support the rule of law.

  13. Im just doing what I’m told

    Yes sir

    Just wanting to get paid

    Yup yup yup

  14. This is the excuse *ALL* of the GOP is going to try to use when their constituents ask why they voted for a law that screwed the people so much.

  15. When the migrant caravan filled with fentanyl and rapists comes around, you’ll vote republican again.
