>Kallas’ remarks follows an intervention by new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz who declared he “no longer understands” Israel’s objectives in the besieged enclave.
>”The way in which the civilian population has been affected… can no longer be justified by a fight against Hamas terrorism,” he said.

EU giving the middle finger to the US regarding Gaza while the US gives the middle finger to the EU regarding Ukraine would be so comical if it weren’t so tragic.
If we accept Israel starving millions of people, killing tens of thousands of civilians, killing thousands of children, forcing children to undergo surgeries without anesthesia, use civilians as human shields, murder aid workers etc… as a necessary evil for Israel to defend itself…
At which point can we still make the argument that it is not acceptable for Hamas to kill thousands of civilians, kill dozens of children and rape dozens of women as a necessary evil for Palestine to defend itself?
We’re throwing pretty much all humanitarian laws out the window to excuse Israel, the very same humanitarian laws that would define Hamas as a terrorist organization. At which point does Israel get to claim it still has a moral high-ground against a terrorist organization like Hamas?
You can’t have your cake and eat it too. If you think attacking the whole group is a good strategy to fight Hamas, you can’t then claim that Hamas attacking the whole group isn’t a good strategy to fight Israel.
I’m sick of reading stupid comments saying that it is ok for Israel to do inhumane things because they have to defend themselves against an inhumane enemy. They’re both the same.
Translation: Merz/Germany are finally a bit critical of Israeli actions which gave the go-ahead for the EU to start criticism towards Israel. It is plain to see for everyone that Germany has regulatory capture over EU institutions. Something that shouldn’t happen, should be stopped and should never happen again seeing as Germany has no moral quandary whatsoever when it comes to defending the indefensible
Why is it even necesary to fight people who are resisting apartheid and genocide?
Colonial settlers & occupiers have no right to self defense under international law to begin with, much less those who are actively committing live streamed holocaust.
So yeah fuck zionazis.
Fuck them. Fuck to hell. Fuck all of them for being silent when this shit has been going on for over a year. It was always beyond what is necessary why the fuck did it take them so long to say it. Fuck them for being silent. Fuck them for being complicit. This is too little too late and still with no real action against Israel.
I swear as soon as I read the phrase “EU says” in a title, my mind starts playing Blue on Black by Kenny Wayne Sheppard.
The EU says lots of things that may as well go in one ear and out the other.
Anyone with a working brain would’ve realized their military strategy wasnt designed to fight Hamas but to inflict as much misery as possible to the civilian population.
