What’s fascinating is that this 10% fall in favourable opinion of Israel has occurred despite the very biased and positive reporting that Israel receives in the German media. If people were actually presented with headlines of Minister Smotrich’s latest proclamations or the chants of the Israeli marchers in Jerusalem a few days ago things would be much much worse.
Would Germany be open to governing and providing it’s troops to occupy Gaza? IDF is really the only military I am aware that is willing to deal with the occupation of Gaza
You can have unconditional support for principles and ideals. You should never have inconditional support for a country. That’s just asking for your relationship to be abused. Even if they’re great allies, things can change. These things should always be conditional. ESPECIALLY military operations conducted by those nations. Guns and bombs and death are way too grave to ever get unconditional support.
Another Great achievement my Awesome government managed to accomplished, after Bibi destroyed our relationship with the Democrats in the USA. The greatest threat Israel has ever had right now its the Israel government.
>New chancellor Merz’s rebuke of Israel over military actions in Gaza marks big shift
Until Chancellor Merz actually *does* something it’s nothing more than hot air
