The largest sporting event in Luxembourg, with some 17,000 runners representing 117 nationalities, takes place on 31 May in the capital.
The 18th ING Night Marathon covers a challenging urban route of 42.195km, starting in Kirchberg then passing through Limpertsberg, Belair, Merl, Hollerich, Gare, and the city centre, before returning over the Red Bridge to LuxExpo.

The Roll & Run is a route through Limpertsberg for those taking part on wheels.

Road closures & entertainment
Roads used for the marathon will be closed to all traffic during the race and will reopen after the last runner has passed.
Tens of thousands of supporters are expected to line the streets, with 65 points along the way where more than 500 musicians, singers and DJs will perform.
The Luxembourg City council urges people to use public transport during the hours the roads are closed. There will be 40 crossing points in strategic locations along the race route so motorists can get around the city, but crossing times will depend on the progress of the race.
Residents who normally park on roads affected will not be able to leave until the road segment is fully open at the end of the race and are advised to move their cars before the start of the event if they want to use their vehicle on the evening of 31 May.
