No religion or belief is free from being criticised, even Atheism & Agnosticism should be criticised, we are in a free society so thoughts and ideas should be freely exchanged & criticising can help deepen our understandings as well. In my view, acting this way because god forbid someone critiqued islam is unacceptable, since no religion is superior to others (they are all equal) & it really does not set a good example about the community that the perpetrator of this is from, a community, which mind you is an already controversial one within the UK, probably further harmed after the incident with that teacher a few years back.
