An elderly neighbour allegedly knocked at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Montecito mansion to personally hand over a documentary on the area to the former actress – but 'never got past the gate', it was claimed today.

The unnamed California local historian had apparently wanted the Duchess of Sussex to have a copy after she moved to the area with her royal husband in 2020.

Fellow neighbour and local journalist Richard Mineards has claimed that the anecdote reveals how 'distant' Meghan has become in the $14.7million home she shares with Harry, Archie and Lilibet.

  1. Talking to the press perhaps isn’t very neighborly either.

  2. “tabloid with zero morals paid rando for bullshit story”

  3. Gee, how weird they wouldn’t open the gate for a rando right after moving in while being very much of interest to paps. (Also clearly a smart move given how the neighbour is keen to talk to press.) Idk, this is such a ridiculous nothingburger.

  4. Fascinating that this old gossip not getting into the house is somehow only Meghan’s fault and not the other person who lives there.

  5. This is old, dumb gossip. The Fail is worse than horrible with this constant obsession.

  6. This is so funny when stories like this come up

Last year we where told by the daily mail that Harry has no friends, he doesn’t leave the house and he’s a stay at home father while Meghan has all the friends, parties and is constantly out the house.

But now the narrative is switching to Meghan stays to herself, isn’t out much and Harry is the go lucky outgoing one who is outside the house the most 🥴

  7. It’s always “Meghan is a nasty b!tch but Harry is super sweet and charming.” 🙄🙄🙄

  8. I, too, do not answer my door and often wish to be left alone. But I am also quite charming once you get to know me. This article could be about any family, in any neighborhood, anywhere.
