Egg producer Noble Foods has been granted a Royal Warrant and confirmed as The King’s egg supplier.

The warrant was granted to the Shell and Agriculture division of Noble Foods, which includes the producer’s value-added operations across its shell egg sector.

Noble Foods previously held the Royal Warrant as “Supplier of Eggs” to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and will continue supplying to the family under the new reign.

A Royal Warrant is a document issued by the senior members of the Royal Family that grants a company the right to supply goods or services to the Royal Household. The family sources their food through a combination of estate-grown produce and suppliers holding Royal Warrants.

Currently, there are over 800 Royal Warrant holders, according to the Royal Family’s website, and there is no requirement for a supplier to be British owned or UK-based.  Additionally, the suppliers do not provide goods or services for free.

On the announcement, Noble Foods Chair Sarah Dean stated, “Being granted a Royal Warrant is an incredible honor, but more than anything, it’s a recognition of the work our people do every day with care and pride.”

Noble Foods is a leading British egg company and produces brands the happy egg co., Freshlay Farms Golden Yolkers and Purely Organic. According to WATT Global Media, Noble Foods processes up to four million eggs daily and delivers 60 million shell eggs weekly, sourced from a combination of owned and contracted farms.

Occasionally, I have found myself wondering where well-known people get their normal, day-to-day items. What kind of dish soap does Britney Spears have? Where does Elton John get his groceries? Where does Clint Eastwood pump his gas? Does he even pump his own gas?

Well, at least we know where the Royal Family gets their eggs.
