Why Do So Many Christians Fall For Conspiracy Theories?

1. Because the basic foundation of formal religion is faith in the unproveable. They’re indoctrinated, literally from birth, to accept beliefs without question. Sound familiar?

   Same reason they’re more likely to support authoritarian governance

2. TLDR, Because they’re dumb.

3. Uh, because they’re Christians and are brought up to accept any bullshit story they are told. Anything other than thinking for themselves and taking personal responsibility for their actions.

    Easy to believe a narrative-based Conspiracy Theory, then, if you are used to informing your world view by faith.

    So it comes as no surprise to me that these guys fall for conspiracy theories…

30. God is basically a conspiracy theory. There is no proof he is real. There is no proof of afterlife. There is a book written by men.
