I am absolutely positive this song plays at the end of a film that is set in London but for the life of me I cannot remember what it is. Pretty sure it is a gangster type film but have checked IMDB and can't find anything. My wife agrees it's on something but we are racking our brains!

I only know this song from “Sliver” with Sharon Stone, but no UK movie ….

That does sound very familiar… Perhaps it was a TV Show. I’ll do some digging.
You could also try asking on r/MassiveAttack
Internet says Sliver and **[Jack & Sarah](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113448)**. (Which might be the one you’re looking for)

https://m.imdb.com/name/nm1039315/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_3_nm_5_in_0_q_massive%2520 then choose soundtrack
Are you thinking of the movie Snatch and their song Angel?

I feel like you are thinking of Layer Cake but it isn’t unfinished sympathy
I am positive it plays at the end of the film or potentially the beginning as the camera goes to a shot of Londons skyline around dusk
I actually don’t know the film its from, but the second I saw the image from the music video I heard the song in my head. Such an iconic song.
SSX uses a version of this, ‘Finished symphony’.
Are you confusing it with the other MA song opening Luther?
If you love the track, there’s an amazing technical breakdown [here ](https://youtu.be/e4Nyo2jc7_g?si=rw2t3yoILAlb2ukE).
Well worth a watch
this has nothing to do with this
[Blade II – Cypress Hill & Roni Size – Child of the Wild West (2002) Music Video (VHS Capture)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RLceK2-o5k)
Are you sure its not a Bourne movie: [https://youtu.be/hMWeMLAlsPw?si=5yWa3GGU-9SWvBpU&t=148](https://youtu.be/hMWeMLAlsPw?si=5yWa3GGU-9SWvBpU&t=148)
Renford Rejects
You’re not confusing it with “Clubbed to death” that was part of The Matrix soundtrack are you?

It was used in some fashion over the opening credits of House MD season 1
EDIT: No it wasn’t it was Teardrop as pointed out by the Redditor below – please ignore me!
It’s in Sliver with Sharon Stone – but that’s set in New York ‘93. Angel is featured in Snatch…
Shara Nelson has an absolutely wonderful voice.
You have good ears…this song is a ‘forever song’ to me, I’ll always listen and never tire of it, it’s helped me a lot over the years.
Side note: that track had an ace video, one take take through a load of busy streets.
I was watching this video only yesterday and I noticed for the first time that the members of the band follow her about one after the other during the song.
When Unfinished Sympathy was released Massive Attack changed their name to Massive while the Gulf war was going on. A bit of useless information to take into the weekend
It’s also Athena’s entrance music in the new Gladiators
I’ve got the same association, it’s Lock Stock or Snatch. It was used in a trailer or some prominent YouTube clip video but not the movie, which is why it doesn’t show up on IMDB
