As Ukraine currently flies 3 UH-60 (*each able to transport 11 fully kitted out inf soldiers*), this was a plt-level operation at most.
If there is a buildup on that bridgehead (across the river) wouldn’t it make more sense to hammer that area 24/7 with artillery, Ceasars and F16?
I was long hoping for an air assault on road and rail points at the 3 o’clock position, coinciding with dropping the Kerch. Prolly too daring
Good lord these guys are lunatic badasses.
As much as I want Ukraine to win, RFU News is mainly a channel for feel good news concerning Ukraine. It literally only shows Ukrainian victories, be it so minor

The airmobile troop deployment was carried out by special purpose unit “Timur” of the Ukrainian [main directorate of intelligence](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Directorate_of_Intelligence_(Ukraine)#Combat_formations), footage of the raid has been posted on reddit ([reddit link](https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/comments/1kxcx89/ukrainian_hurs_unit_tymur_conducts_air_assault/)).

It’s been a good week, and it’s only Monday.
Ukraine reminds me of Israel in the 1970s.
