3. The smugglers were sentenced to only eight months? Is this a fricking joke? I knew we were a soft touch but FFS we seem not only to have lost our teeth but our spines also. No wonder every nationality takes the piss out of our better nature.

4. It’s tragic they have died and laughable that the French pulled them off and set the rest on their merry way

5. The fact that these immigrant men would leave a woman and child die is sickening. Another massive reason why our cultures don’t mix. We would do anything for our wives and daughters.

6. I am yet to hear any UK Party offer up a practical and ethical solution to how deal with a bunch of humans on a flimsy boat in the middle of the Channel which doesn’t involve bringing them to shore in the UK.

   I’m all ears though.

7. Way is it different in water? This would never happen if they were on a coach, or in the back of a lorry. Actually there would be international outcry in those cases.

8. There was once a time we ordered the Royal Navy to hunt down people smugglers with extreme prejudice wherever they were. Now we give them 8 months holiday if we accidentally catch them.
