Difference in most statistics is almost unrecognizable
PO was party of young, but they betrayed them. And polish young seem to be not so forgiving like middle-age people, they do not give second chance. They never had the oldest, now they no longer have young. Soon they will be party of no one.
Huh, interesting that despite the fact people were bringing up education a lot, higher education actualy became more PiS with time, while elementary and Vocational became more KO.
Also, what are the BS and PJJ parties (is PJJ Polska Jest Jedna?) and why are they there, while there is no mention of Razem, which was one of the big winners of this election, actually surpassing the traditional Left party.
Lets give more potatoes to old people
Everything is quite logical and predictable if one takes the domestic and foreign policies of the parties behind both candidates.
What is surprising to me however is the amount of people nearing retirement age voting for Trzaskowski seeing that PO wants to increase the retirement age (in fact did that in the past). I would imagine that people would want to retire earlier rather than later.
Maybe it’s the mismanagement in the healthcare system by PiS that led to resentment among people who require doctor visits more often than young ones?
IM not sure but it’s puzzling.
You can’t fuck over voters forever, not even in Poland.
I love how many are starting to realize how incompetent and lying PO is
Well what about “demographic”? You run shitty campaign, you promise but not deliver, slack around and shit on potential new voters…
How.not to lose?
The age demographics might as well be split. 52-48 isn’t conclusive either way. Same with gender. The big differences are more vs. less educated and rural vs. urban, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
Oh my Godness. Are you saying to me that if we by some miracel could get rid of Orbán than only less than two years after that, youth will go back to Fidesz??? This statistic by age is just insane.
there should be a catchword “take your’s son mObywatel” before elections 😉
This feels so wierd, I have been comparing this election with the Romananian one. În Romania 70% of people age 18-24 voted for the centrist
Is there such a big difference between Polish and Romanian GenZ??
Funny that the young people disappointed with our current government have switched to the option that is even worse for them
Liberal parties don’t connect well with (young) male voters and actually do nothing to change that. They rather focus on female voters (“kobiety naprzód!”), but a lot of women are quite conservative and progressive women would vote for them anyway.
This is almost exactly like the American election demographics lol. Younger people and students shifting right, older people and retirees shifting left, farmers mostly voting conservative, etc. I’m surprised at how little gender and age polarization there is, however – both men and women were within 10 points, and across age groups, the margin was within 8 points. I honestly wish this is the case everywhere, it’s not good to have gender and age polarization.
