The BBC is complicit. With their framed headlines and articles they allow Israel to get away committing their genocide.
“30 people die in Hamas controlled Gaza”
“Hamas led ministry reports…”
The ICRC are glorified uber drivers for the hostages getting released after macabre ceremonies by Hamas where they parade the coffins of dead children. Their moral standing has been eroded by cooperating with Hamas and most Israelis see them as far from neutral.
Oh give me a break. The hyperbole about Gaza being “the worst place on earth where a million babies die and get eaten every day” has been beaten to death.
How are we supposed to believe you after 10+ years of this?
I can’t imagine what it would be like to be stuck in a 25×5 mile cage, spending more than a year of your life having to relocate to new refugee camp after new camp, none of which have proper sanitation, food, or water, never being sure if the enemy is going to bomb the supposedly “safe zone” you’re camping in to kill a random family or three.
An area where aid workers and journalists trying to help you and document the plight are routinely killed with zero issue once the enemy says they’ll “look into it” and sweeps it under the rug.
And if you do manage to survive and get back to the “good” part of the country you may still be thrown in prison without cause, or have police look on silently while your neighbors forcibly steal your land and kill your family members if you refuse to leave. Where the bureaucracy uses excuses like lack of permits to bulldoze your house and give the land to a more favored class of citizens.
I do realize that some people get the shit end of the stick when it comes to life, but it’s a bit unfathomable to me that we *assist* this behavior, while at best paying lip service to condemnation and “sanctioning” people who it will have no impact on. Like if it’s some Hatfields vs Mccoys feud on the other side of the world so be it, but actively assisting and watching the slow starvation of a population by a state we have *full* leverage over if we want to stop it… that’s pretty reprehensible.
You don’t understand, 2,000,000 men, women and mostly children must live in hellish conditions, without reliable access to potable water, food or medicine, sleeping in tents, to secure Israel.
You disagree? Why are you such a virulent anti-semite!?!?
The red crescent on the ground generally do a decent job even if they are a bit too pally with Hamas, this is just hyperbole from the top though, the entire territory was supposedly on the ‘brink of famine’ before the aid rolled in, now its worse? Come off it.
The war rages on and people are just worn out and fed up.
