  16. It’s all about the numbers, only thing Trump cares about, same thing occured during the Pandemic. In order to maintain numbers of deaths low Trump didn’t allow cruise ships full of Covid 19 infected passengers un board the ships. Only thing Trump cares about is telling the American people we deported this many people. Who cares if they were deportable.

    No need to wonder. No one wants to be speeded off to El-Salvador without a trial or legal defense. You would be safer visiting North Korea.

  18. Are they going to push society to the breaking point? Will they instigate an event that leaves them “no choice” but to declare martial law?

    After martial law is declared will they start “disappearing” anyone who obstructs or simply disagrees with the MAGA agenda? Are we building a huge network of privately contracted prison firms to house large numbers of political prisoners, LGBTQ, people of color, or anyone culturally “unAmerican”? Who gets to decide?

    This is an America not worth having a dream for. At least not in its current state.

  25. The quiet you hear from the right is because they support this action. The right has no grounding principles. They will fall in line with whatever Trump wants. This is how authoritarian regimes thrive. It is a defining difference between a populust leader and an authoritarian. Populist are still bound by a system of ethics. Authoritarians are not bound by principle. Their policies are an amalgam of conflicting rationale. If there are no standards, supporters are stuck with a single lodestone – the leaders statements/actions.
