COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Nearly six months after the departure of home décor retailer At Home, Peachtree Mall is preparing to welcome a new anchor tenant.
Beauty Master, a beauty and cosmetics chain, will open later this summer in the former At Home space on Manchester Expressway in Columbus. The nearly 90,000-square-foot building is currently undergoing renovations. An exact opening date was not immediately available.
Touted as “the largest ethnic beauty department store in the United States,” Beauty Master operates numerous locations across Georgia and Florida. The brand is known for revitalizing large retail spaces, often stepping into former anchor spots in shopping malls.
As traditional department stores continue to decline, malls are increasingly turning to non-traditional anchors like Beauty Master to drive foot traffic and diversify their offerings.
