Khan’s London – woke buses! LONDON BUSES ARE ST GEORGE RED. HOW DARE HE MAKE THE BUSES GREEN AND CLEAN! GET ARRESTED FOR BEING ENGLISH THESE DAYS
Goodone Mr Khan , more of this and less of private transportation is what we need , for efficient cost-effective transport, cleaner and safer
Well its not zero emission is it to produce electricity ! And how many are going up in flames ?
Excellent. I’ve seen and ridden a few, getting shot of the diesel buses has to be a good thing.
I think the drivers have finally gotten the hang of the incredible acceleration on them and are a little less lead footed.. also with the braking.
Love this!
When I first moved to London, I had a huge uptick in asthma attacks. I needed to go to hospital, have steroids. It’s been difficult to manage since I moved here. I’m sensitive to it because I have asthma, but poor air quality affects everyone.
Sadiq has come up against a lot of criticism and anger for his initiatives but ultimately he’s doing what politicians need to do – the right thing.
I mean yeah, not dying of respiratory disease or being boiled alive by climate change is cool and all, but more importantly they sound like FUCKING SPACE SHIPS!!!
we’re living in the future I tells ya!
Genuine question – I’m born and raised in London but have been in Japan since 2015. Usually when I hear about Khan it’s not in a good light, but this seems to be the opposite. What’s the general consensus and what should I know? Green buses obviously sounds great, and the hopper fare has been amazing for my short trips back home as I take buses a lot. Are there others?
This is great news but does it mean that the all buses will be green in the future?
Very positive. Khan’s terms have felt quite disappointing to live through, but I suspect history will judge him as one of London’s better mayors, solely for his legacy in improving the air quality.
