Thankfully there's plenty of frukt og grønt shops and other cheaper alternatives. I was just shocked when a single paprika rang up to 45kr while doing a quick taco fredag run. I "get" increased alcohol and snack prices, but these prices on basic vegetables feels almost predatory!

There is always money in the paprika stand !
Which store was this? Meny?
This is organic. Organic stuff costs more, despite zero evidence that it’s any better for you.
Definitely Norwegian paprika, grown in Norwegian sun haha, hence the price :’)
You don’t want to check the price of fresh baby spinach.
It’s the fancy “Økologisk” one. There’s always some arbitrary markup on those.
Organic is a lot more expensive than ordinary.
Normal paprika: 100 kr cheaper per kg: https://meny.no/varer/frukt-gront/gronnsaker/paprika/paprika-2000408800002
Most expensive type though, ecological and all
Time to start growing paprika on the window sill like the east Europeans apparently do!
Good thing they wrap all of them in plastic too, just to highlight that extra økologisk.
Vilje’s ecological fruit and greens are costly, but ecological products in general are.
Where can you find these cheaper alternatives? Especially in Trondheim? I am growing my own ones now😅 but they are far from harvesting
Blame the Tarrifs
The cheapest («First Price») paprika at Meny is kr 56,90 per kg, or kr 22,19 for a pack of two:

The eco-version costs 3 times more.
Noticed that most food prices have gone crazy today. And my lønn still the same unfortunately 🙁
