  1. I wonder what those ground fires were along the way and if they had anything to do with the operation

  2. Oh wow. They were pretty far away from the airfields. I thought they’d be closer.

  3. To me the most interesting thing about this is the loiter time over the airfield, while they choose the best target with complete and utter impunity.

  4. I don’t understand why there are never any people visible on the bases in these videos. Is no-one fighting fires? Shooting at drones? What would an American air base look like in this situation?

  5. Planes burning like torches while no one is trying to put out the fire.

Where’s damage control Putin? Too busy driving motorbikes on the frontline?

  6. You can tell there was some input lag when they controlled the drones. So it was probably more difficult than it seems to hit the targets.

All in all, a masterful performance by Ukrainian intelligence.

  7. Do we know yet how the Ukrainians got this footage?

Also these were not fiber optic correct?

  8. Is it just me or did the operator do a little happy dance/jiggle when they got over the airfield?

  9. The very definition of a target rich environment! Jesus Christ !

  10. That was exciting to watch, it must have been even more exciting for those piloting and monitoring this real time. to see their well thought out plan come to fruition with such spectacular results.

  11. Fly, my monkeys! Fly!

BTW, I sent off letters to my Senators, (Tedd Bud, spineless MAGA piece of shit; Thom Tillis, two-faced, lying piece of shit) asking them to introduce a measure within the Senate’s version of the House’s abomination of a legislative bill (aka big beautiful bill) that would allow me to take a tax break from monetary donations to the Ukrainian war effort.

I said that by doing so, I am taking personal responsibility for donating to a democratic cause where my government does not take that responsibility seriously. By not allowing me to have the tax break or by the government failing to donate on our behalf is the same thing as supporting dictatorships and declaring war on innocent citizens in a free country. Anyone supporting Putin or does not rennounce Russia and their war on Ukraine is both a traitor to the US and not worthy of holding office.

I sent it with a receipt upon delivery this Wednesday. I have not received notification of receipt yet and I await their reply.

  12. Are these remotely piloted by a person or is AI picking targets on site

  13. It looks like it is holding 60 meters and going through waypoints before arriving to the airfield. Confirms my initial guess that they used pre-programmed routes to launch as many at the same time. That counter in the bottom left is probably the waypoint counter. After reaching the 5th way point, it holds in position and is ready for takeover.

No idea what are the main motives for this, but the easiest way to orchestrate multiple drones is certainly to fly them as autonomously as you can until you have to do the “last mile delivery”. You can probably get away with using fewer pilots as well, but as some earlier reporting might have suggested, each had their own designated pilot. Another positive is the fact that this leads to fewer pilot errors, because you can program specific drones to reach that position-holding waypoint based on specific targets, so the pilots won’t confuse their targets, especially since this is such a wide yet target rich area, where the targets are largely the same.

  14. I wish they would been able to sneak a couple bomber drones as well, but that would have been way harder I presume.

  15. It’s pretty awesome, the operator is like a kid in a candy store, which one do I pick.

  16. Interesting to see that some drones managed to get a GPS fix.

I guess messing up GPS for airliners in the baltics is more important than to protect their own bases.
