So, yesterday there was a stabbing in Haasrode. Ukrainian woman and her daughter were killed. The only person that survived was a son (16), who was at school. Father of a family is currently at a frontline, protecting his home. And family came here 3 years ago for a safety of children. Do you know what will happen to their son? And who do I need to contact if I want to help him out? Unfortunately I’m not able to foster him, but maybe at least I can help him with money or smth

  2. Hey there, I’m from Haasrode so I will try to explain the situation. First of all I kinda know the boy. He has contact with (I think 2, but at least 1) Flemish family here. Also they often had visits from other Ukrainian families, I don’t know if these are his family or just friends, but he does know some people here. Last time I heard he was with the police. I don’t think there’s much you can do, except for wait. There are people who can help them if it’s needed, whom he knows.
