  1. Just a quick Google search shows that the Chittagong armoury raid happened that day 92 deaths in British India. Just because the BBC in 1930 didn’t think it was news worthy doesn’t mean it wasn’t.

  4. From 12 March to 6 April 1930, Gandhi led the Salt March to protest British salt monopoly and the colonial government.
    The whole effect of the event lasted until 1931. I believe on 18th April, there must be some progress of the event that worth reporting.
    It was just the BBC ignored the events because they didn’t care about colonised people.
