1. Lets be honest. Trump doesn’t know what day of the fucking week it is. The people pulling his strings are behind this and it’s blatantly obvious. My only hope is it backfires and the people aren’t crushed under the fascist boots before they can form an organised fight back.

4. Gavin Newsom is absolutely right. Trump did not send 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles because the city was on fire. He sent them because Fox News needed fresh B-roll. It was less a deployment and more a political stage production, complete with camo costumes and taxpayer-funded set pieces. The crisis was not on the streets of LA. The crisis was in the polls. And nothing rallies the base quite like tanks near taco trucks.

6. The people aren’t falling for it. 300 troops landed this morning, and they were reporting little to no protests and no violence that they saw.
