Heya. So, a few years ago, this video of a glider incident began to circulate, and I’m now seeing that it’s reappearing again.

I’ve decided to pick a frame that doesn’t show any faces clearly because it is an old video and idk where the girl is now, if she’s bettering herself, or what.

What I will say is…hi. It’s me, the bitch who RECORDED IT. For obvious reasons, I won’t be showing my face cause I’m not lookin to get jumped. Am I the one who posted it? No. I sent it to some people because I thought it was a crazy thing that happened, and the next day, it started popping up everywhere.

Now, I wouldn’t be making this post if I didn’t click the comments of this TikTok and saw a bunch of BLATANT LIES in them. So I’m going address the story behind it. Please do not attack or harass anyone you may know in this video, again it is OLD and these people have probably moved on now.

So, the girl in the video was not alone, she was with a friend group, and they all sat at the back of the glider.

I don’t remember if the bus man had initially warned them about their behaviour, I wasn’t really paying attention until shit started kicking off. What I do remember is that they were chucking vapes to each other, being loud and causing disturbances. The bus stopped at lenadoon av, and the man told the group to get off, standing in front of the doors so they wouldn’t close.

And of course, they refused to get off. I was honestly expecting the glider man to just give up, but he stood his ground and remained in front of the door. Their back and forth had went on for AGESSSS. So another man (who later got spat on), got fed up, stood up and dragged the girls off themselves. (Also, fair play to the kids who actually got off when they were told to). Him dragging them off is what later got him arrested.

The SHAMEFUL lies I am seeing are…
-He hit them
-He was chatting them up in an inappropriate way

Disgusting, disgraceful lies. Could ruin lives. If you believe these lies, you are gullible. I don’t know where these lies sprouted from, but I was there, and I can assure you that this man did not interact with those kids until he dragged them off himself.

The kids kept blocking the doors and stopped the bus from leaving. The girl eventually got back on and started slabbering to the man and spit on him.

Another lie I’m seeing is…
-He pushed her off after she spat on him.

Wrong. It’s the other way round. She spat on him after he pushed her off.

She later got her dad who was about to assault the man, but was stopped by police as they had arrived shortly before that. Most people had gotten off the bus because it had been so long. The hat man was arrested and so was the dad, and the driver dropped the remaining people at the top of the roundabout.

That’s the story. If you don’t believe me, I have a whole other video that I recorded that didn’t blow up. I don’t want to respark this story, so I will not post it. But if you wish, I will show frames of it to prove its existence.

We were at that bus stop for about an hour and a half. I remember my phone was on like 7% and I put it on charge and by the time I was finally off, it was FULLY CHARGED.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop spreading such disgusting lies. Yes, he put his hands on those girls, and he shouldn’t have done that, but it wasn’t to touch them inappropriately. He had been sitting in the folded seat in front of me the whole journey and had not been ‘chatting them up’. Lies like that can literally ruin somebody’s life.

  2. “He put hands on those girls and he shouldn’t have done that”. Listen, I’m the last person to ever advocate for violence against kids but they are fucking FERAL (including my own scumbag relatives in that category).

    They’re too emboldened to do and say whatever the fuck they want because they know they can hide behind the “I’m just a child” ballix. They never suffer consequences, especially when they’ve got parents unwilling to bring them to account.

    My partner isn’t white and it is shocking the amount of incidents we’ve experienced on public transport in Belfast, exclusively by teenagers. For comparison, I’m living in the Netherlands near 10 years now and we’ve had ZERO incidents on public transport or from local teenagers in the entire time we’ve been here. I would rather crawl along salted glass on all fours before getting the Glider again.

    I’ve had younger relatives (nephew included) pelt buses with bricks going up the Falls, near causing a crash. Outright assault against older folk or people who are clearly on their own. Wrecking local businesses for the craic. (Spoiler: they’ve all done time or currently doing time because they’re vermin). Fuck these kids. I wasn’t an angel myself growing up but I never ever terrorised random people for a laugh – I would have rightfully got my head clipped by my parents for it.

    An unpopular rant I know but I really have absolutely no sympathy for these “kids”. Fuck em.
