Am I the only one to be annoyed by the fact that Carrefour displays the cherries' price for half a kilogramme in large fonts although said cherries are not sold in "raviers"?

They do display the price for a kilogramme but it is tiny.

IMO it is highly deceiving…

  1. I would simply recommend to always compare the price per kilo. They will stop these kinds of shenanigans when they notice it’s not working.

  4. yeah that’s weird. If they were packed by 500g then okay, but they’re not. I sometimes see prices per 250g and it’s annoying, taking time to do math in the middle of grocery shopping.

  6. It’s usual to have a Price by 500 gr with cherries in belgian supermarket .

    Two reasons :

    1 it’s fucking expensive for a fruit ( few productors and a lot of demand

    2 it’s fucking fragile and go bad very quickly .

  8. Intermarché is doing those kind of things too, proce per 250g/500g, annoying as fuck specially since it would be a possible price for 1kg

  9. In our local Carrefour, 2 weeks ago, they advertised the price per 100g.

  12. How long have Carrefour price tags been yellow in Belgium? Here in Georgia, they suddenly turned yellow a couple of months ago.

    Yellow price tags are often used as a sign of a discount, and I have already had on a couple of occasions to correct my family members who assumed they were seeing a discounted product.

  13. I’ve seen this a few times with other products in various supermarkets. I think its a case of 250g is too small a portion and €12.80/kg seems expensive.

  14. I could be wrong, but I think this is illegal. Prices should be for 100 gr., for one kilo, or for one piece.
