A 100m cordon has been set up in New Dock Road in Llanelli and residents have been asked to stay away from the area. The cordon in place means sections of the following roads are closed:

Trinity Terrace

Trinity Road

Copperworks Road

New Dock Road

Marged Street

  1. I thought it might be that an old unexploded WW2 bomb had been discovered (North Dock was bombed) but it appears someone has been arrested under the Explosive Substances Act.

  2. The police have confirmed that if the bomb went off, it would have caused millions of pounds of Improvements.
