The factual, professional language and dry statistics contrast with the horrible reality of what they clearly show: In the absence of any public pushback from the Russian elites or the people themselves (at present effectively repressed), the Russian state does not care how many men die or are left disabled in pursuit of their land grab – provided the meat grinder can be constantly re-filled. As has been recently said widely, Putin has no desire and no pressure on him (internally) to make peace. Unless the international community acts decisively to put more pressure on the Russian state (economic sanctions, greater military support for Ukraine, political action etc), sadly nothing will change.

  6. How many of these casualties are from occupation areas of Ukraine like donbass n luhansk are Ukraine men forced to fight for Russia or brain wash?

It’s the 21st century and Russian population still thinks that using tactics from the 19th century are appropriate and meat assaults are the best option in a war with exploding drones all around. One would think that at some point they would stand up against a government that needlessly kills their fathers and sons. But it is Russia, they will never learn, so Putin can go on until there is really no man left. Maybe at some point the waste of lives will lead to so much labour shortage that he needs to rethink, but that point might be far in the future.
