The release of Harry’s memoir Spare in 2023 reportedly escalated the tension between the brothers, with claims that they haven’t spoken since. While 42-year-old William has remained silent about the family feud, Royal author Robert Jobson believes there’s now a stark contrast between the two siblings.
Once leading similar lives dedicated to representing the Crown, Harry’s lifestyle has significantly diverged.
This divergence was evident last week when William was seen performing Royal duties while a 2021 video of Harry dancing in a hospital delivery room with a pregnant Meghan Markle, posted by the Duchess herself, resurfaced on Instagram.

Jobson shared his thoughts with Hello magazine: “The contrast between these images of the two brothers is huge: one of service and one of just silliness, really. What Harry and Meghan shared is great for clickbait, but not very good for anything else.”, reports the Express.
“William takes his responsibilities to the institution, to his father, to his family, very seriously.

Rumors swirl about the state of William and Harry’s relationship, hinting at irreparable rifts. Yet it appears this estrangement isn’t limited to them, especially following Harry’s move to Montecito.
Harry himself divulged in an interview last month that he is not on speaking terms with his father, King Charles, who is 76 years old.
The tension is believed to stem from Harry’s challenge against a Home Office verdict to diminish his UK taxpayer-funded security benefits—a legal battle he lost.
Similar to William, King Charles has stayed mum regarding the condition of his bond with his younger son, whom reports say he hasn’t encountered since February of the previous year.
