  1. If they behave like the NHS when I opted out, I expect to get quadruple HMRC mail.

Ironically, since opting out of NHS mail, I seem to get at least 3 for each appointment and have yet to have an email from them in 4 years!!!!@@@

  2. Can they not talk to the bbc about their pointless letters and how much they could save on printing the words “will you be in on such and such date” along with “you need a tv license”?

  3. Barely sending them now. Their last reply to me by post came just a few days short of a ***year*** since my enquiry.

  4. Whenever they send me a letter, they send me three of the same letter each time, usually reminders to fill out my tax return even though it’s already been done.

  5. Amazing news that will keep the NHS running for about 2 hours

  6. Let’s hope they do a better job digitally. Wife never recieved a warning that she wasn’t submitting tax returns after cancelling child tax credits. Being on 51k at the time she had do a tax return, then was given a pay rise 60k so got nothing for a tax return. She found out cancelling one doesn’t cancel the other, her fault but they never sent a letter of missed submission for 2 years. Nice repayment there.
