  1. It’s my birthday today so hopefully no bad luck here! I turned 13 on a Friday 13th too; I was convinced something awful was gonna happen but thankfully not.

  2. I’m coming down with the horrible cold that recently afflicted the wife and kid, so I suspect I’ll be spending Father’s Day dosed up on Lemsip and misery. Just in time for the first Path of Exile league in nearly a year… Sigh…

  3. I’ve got a lottery ticket for tonight. Only the third time I’ve bought one in my life. Something felt right about buying one for a superstitious day.

    I was talking to a colleague about it, and saying if I win I’ll finally get new tyres on my car. She paused and went “if you win the lottery you’ll probably buy a new car…”

    I’ll be surprised if I even win my ticket price back to be honest

  6. Unlucky for me as I have to go back to work after a few days off. Only 9 shifts to go before 3 weeks off.

  7. Bought new antihistamines and have faired the hot sunny days over the past few weeks really well with no heat rash

    Just showered before bed (night shift), and I’ve just discovered that, actually, nope, I do have bubble wrap skin that’s itchy as hell now I’ve scrubbed it 🤦🏻‍♀️

  9. Going to Download festival!! It was my birthday Wednesday and my husband surprised me with tickets. Our train is at 10.40 from Bristol so I’m just getting ready!

  12. I have to catsit my sisters crazy cat for the weekend so I am not looking forward to him using me as his own personal chew toy.

  13. Friday 13th unrelated but I watched the titan sub documentary on Netflix lastnight and I’ve spent all morning so far thinking about it. Those poor people that had zero idea what was going on behind the scenes at OceanGate lost their lives, truly heartbreaking. But the one person I can’t feel any ounce of sympathy for is Stockton Rush. He met his own demise which is incredible karma but also got the cowards way out and never had to face the consequences of his actions. Nasty and dangerous man.

FUN FACT: Many people believe a fear of the number thirteen (triskaidekaphobia) originates from there being thirteen attendees at the Last Supper (Jesus + 12 disciples) but more recent scholarly investigations have revealed that the number 13 is unlucky because that’s how many Star Trek films there have been.
