  1. The UK is “currently” involved in training members of the Israeli army on British soil, according to Ministry of Defence officials.

    In response to a question from a Labour MP, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces admitted the training was ongoing despite government concerns over Israel’s assault on Gaza.

    “As part of routine defence engagement with Israel, the UK is currently training a limited number of Israeli Defence Forces personnel on UK-based training courses,” Armed Forces Minister Luke Pollard said on Wednesday.

    Israel gets to bomb every country around them, we waste billions supporting them, our soldiers die for their pointless wars and then we get flooded with displaced refugees that were forced out of their country thanks to Israel’s actions. It’s been the same story for the last twenty years, when will we actually stop this?

    To be fair, it works the other way. We pick a fight with someone, we cannot go running to Israel for help either.

    >The National understands that there are **fewer than 10 IDF soldiers training in the UK**.

    >A Ministry of Defence spokesperson said: “A limited number of Israeli Defence Forces personnel are currently enrolled in **non-combat military academic courses** in the UK.”

    >“It is longstanding policy for our educational courses to be open to military personnel from a wide range of countries. All UK military courses emphasise the critical importance of compliance with international humanitarian law.”

  14. Israel is a pariah state and should be left to fight Iran alone, this is to start another war so Israeli leaders stay out of jail a bit longer. We should have no involvement in training their occupation forces.

    Never be on the side of a colonial occupying apartheid state that’s currently committing genocide on a population of 50% children and trying desperately to bring us into a middle east war.

    Israel is the biggest evil in the region, hiring ISIS to attack aid and starving millions. Targeting and killing civilians and using food as a weapon of war.

    … also they are desperately trying to conflate Zionism with Judaism so anyone who speaks out against them are labeled antisemitic.
