Took my first trip to Scotland and absolutely loved it. We mostly stayed in Edinburgh but also took a coach outing to Loch Ness. Here's some pics in random order.

  1. the politicians are arseholes
    but the countryside is lovely
    that could be Italy
    or Japan too

  2. I booped Greyfriars Bobby’s snoot. I did it gently and with my archivalist glove on. Also gave him an ear scratch. Then on down past a few drunks and into the yard itself.

  3. This might be the most honest reflection on Scotland I have to say

  4. Oooh the named bins, I love these pics. Thanks for sharing

  5. Think I’ve been on The Spirit Of Tasmania….in Tasmania…

  6. Where the 5th and the 8th pictures where taken ?? I was at Edinburgh and only seen some river

  7. Nice pics, my only complaint is that horrible flag above Edinburgh Castle someone should take that down and replace it with the saltire.

  8. Great pics, that 9th one is brutal – no a tree in sight.

  9. These are spectacular! May I ask what camera setup you’re using?

  10. We get a lot of photos in this sub.

These might just be the most natural and enjoyable ones.

  11. my now fiancé took me to see the “you’re worth your room on this earth” when I was here visiting. I was thinking of moving here, and was going through a really rough time, and I had just met him and he took me there as a surprise. Was a wonderful moment.

Love the sense of humanity I see around Scotland.

Another nice note I found in the city was I think around the Water of Leith possibly (was just wandering then lol), some stones on the ground that said, “so with the darkest days behind our ship of hope will steer and when in doubt just keep in mind our motto persevere”

    humanity and poetry

    I love it here
