The royal family watched the RAF flypast from the balcony during the King’s Birthday Parade
Prince George proved his confidence as he stepped up when his dad Prince William and granddad King Charles were stumped.
During the Royal Family’s Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Saturday, June 14, the eldest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales was spotted impressing family members with his aircraft knowledge.
According to The Mirror, King Charles was seen asking, “What is that?” while pointing to a plane during the RAF flypast.
“Errr is that Poseidon?” Prince William said, hesitating. But his 11-year-old heir didn’t miss a beat. “It’s a Poseidon, yeah,” the young royal confidently chimed in.
It’s no surprise George knew the answer. Last year, GB News Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker revealed that George had taken his very first flying lesson at Waltham airfield, near the family’s Adelaide Cottage home.
George’s interest in flight continues a long-standing royal tradition. His great-grandfather Prince Philip, grandfather King Charles, and father Prince William all trained as pilots.
In another sweet father-son moment during the King’s Birthday Parade, Prince William was also seen gently guiding his son during the Trooping ceremony, placing a hand on his back to help him reposition on the balcony. George immediately responded, shifting into place with quiet maturity.
