A strong storm came through Neuchâtel/Biel. Tents flew away at Festineuch, which was then cancelled. Trees falling over etc. We lost three trees in our garden.

Yup, we have definitely destroyed the planet :/
Took a run in the forest in Neuchâtel and it was awful, fallen trees everywhere, some 1m diameter ones have been completely uprooted, some broken on two
Wow, here in Altnau at lake Bodensee there was a bit of Thunderstorm, wind and rain. Pretty harmless
Wow, insane…. I was also watching from inside with my camera if any trees would fall. Happy no one got hurt!
This is just the beginning.
I recently see that metallic thing and thought it was ugly

what a beautiful tree that was..
Oh, I was running through that storm in my bathing suit at Hauterive, Lac de Neuchâtel, today 😂 The weather app said no storm till 4pm, and there was no alert for adverse weather. There was a gray cloud on the horizon at 2:15 and I thought it was just a bit of rain coming in.
Nope, the crazy winds kicked up clouds of sand and drove the stinging rain into my face. Lots of downed branches everywhere, I saw someone’s motorcycle turned over in the parking lot.
And then the emergency vehicles started passing by, over and over 😬 I can’t imagine what it would have been like on a boat
Edit: Holy cow, they say they recorded gusts of 140 km/h 😨 This is the first time in my life I’ve ever been caught unprepared outside in a dangerous weather event, I feel very lucky not to have been injured.
