1. I think the wrong part of the statement got taken out as a soundbite. The better one, which he uses to explain his postilion is “You spend so much time talking about Russia, but they are no longer at the table”.

   And that is a much more reasonable take. Russia did try to sort out the issue diplomatically, but at every single step of the way they were simply told that the west is not going to listen to them. If that wasn’t the case, then I believe there would have been a solution that would have been mutually acceptable and that wouldn’t involve the war.

4. Russia has the 11th largest economy in the world (2023), not even top ten.

   And those numbers are old. Russia has surely fallen from there since 2023.

8. No, Russia was kicked out because they illegally annexed a territory of another sovereign nation. Though everyone already knows that, I guess. I do not think Obama would have been too keen on emulating Chamberlain

   What is more striking is how willing he is to throw his own country and allies under the bus just to defend Russia. I am not one for conspiracy theories, but I am seriously starting to consider whether he is a Russian asset.

   Either that, or I am trying to find some rationale behind what is completely irrational, and he is just a petty, delusion, sniveling pig.

10. This is so stupid, the Prime Minister back then was Stephen Harper, our last conservative Prime Minister, not Trudeau. Trudeau didn’t have the balls to confront Putin the way Harper did behind the scenes back then, so this is almost giving Trudeau too much credit lol.
