   “I would be ashamed if that guy took my job”

   But one reason migrants are hired is because they work for lesser pay without knowing a lot of their rights.

   Doesn’t really have anything to do with ability.

   Why would I be ashamed to say that I lost my job for someone willing to work it for less?

4. “… and that’s why I drink” is such a classic line. It never wears off on me.

   50% of births this year white British.

   This is not like any other time. The majority of this has happened in 20 years for a country that is over a thousand years old. Comedians cannot brush this away trying to shame people into not being concerned.

   This shtick worked in 2008. Not anymore.

6. The irony being Stanhope’s close association with lynchpin of far right disinformation and Trump endorser Joe Rogan.

8. As much as I like Stanhope and Brooker, this aged like milk.

9. Much as I like Charlie Brooker, this kind of liberal snark feels extremely dated & actually pretty mean-spirited.
