Construction company Skanska has signed an agreement with Gjesdal municipality for the construction of the Gjesdal health center in Rogaland county, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 360 million, equivalent to SEK 340 million, which will be included in the order book for the second quarter of 2025. This is stated in a press release.
The new health center will cover 8,700 square meters and accommodate 76 care places as well as facilities such as a café, institutional kitchen, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and service areas. In addition, a 2,000-square-meter parking garage will be built.
Construction will start in September 2025, and the project is expected to be completed in June 2027.
