On June 18, in Bilozerka, Kherson region, Russian military forces attacked a fire station using drones to drop explosives. This information was confirmed by the regional military administration.
As a result of this attack, three rescuers aged 24, 31, and 38 were injured. They were diagnosed with concussions, blast and closed head injuries, and two of them also sustained shrapnel wounds. The injured were urgently taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
The State Emergency Service (SES) showed the aftermath of the attack on the fire station. The strike damaged the unit’s building, the fire depot gates, the roof, windows, and one of the vehicles. The agency specified that the attack was carried out using three FPV drones.
Earlier, the regional military administration reported that within a day, two people were killed and 34 were injured to varying degrees as a result of shelling in the Kherson region.
