~~Wish they had recorded enough for the sound waves to reach the ground.~~
These were apparently far too high for much of the sound wave to make it to the surface.
Exo-atmospheric, although all explosions are exothermic.
>exothermic
Technically I guess it’s also right hehe.
Do we know which day this is from?
Reminds me of the old Star Wars x-wing fights
This will make one hell of a war movie one day.
Wonder if it is Israeli Arrow 3 interceptors or US THAAD or SM-6 missiles??
There’s something awe-inspiring and also terrifying about Ballistic and Ballistic intercepting technology.
Seeing these videos over the last couple of days has made me marvel at how humanity has developed these ordinances that can travel Supersonically and Hypersonically, but at the same time I’m also disgusted.
I don’t know, it’s a weird paradox.
This looks like a cut scene from one of the stages of Call of Duty.
The delayed fragmentation from the first interception looks wild.
I have always wondered what happens to the rest of the missile after its been intercepted.. Are there any videos or images of the remains of these missiles?
full clip anywhere?
Camera man is alive?
Terrifying but beautiful
This is how I picture war in space looks like
Bruh I initially read this as thermobaric warheads and my heart skipped a beat lol
Wow this is by far the best intercept video I’ve seen yet
All those “I’ll never need calculus in real life” kids are in shambles right now.
would guess endothermic interceptions are very hard to see with the naked eye
This could be one of the most mesmerizing things I’ve ever seen on the Internet.
You just put random words in your post title?
More debris clogging up low earth orbit.
Save
the most horrendous but beautiful thing i seen
Does it make a sound when it explodes up there? I mean for people to hear on the ground.
There may be exothermic processes involved, but the intercepts are indeed **exospheric.**
I’ve seen so many with my own eyes and it still amazes me
Is this high enough that the remnants remain in oribt for years?
“I was just a child when the stars fell from the skies.”
This is what the battle of Yavin probably looked like from the surface (assuming it was night time)
