  1. Hope you wore gloves & brought hand sanitiser with you

  2. Don’t sit, and don’t put food or drink on the.. oh well. Bye

  3. My tip for travelling on the tube in the summer is to stand at the front of one of the cars by the open window. When the train is pulling into and exiting the station, you get a slightly cooling breeze. It helps take the edge of the heat a bit.
    Best of luck!

  4. It’s been rough today. Hopped on a bus and driver immediately shut it down and ran in the shop for a cold drink but no one even blamed him.

  5. You haveent been spoken at in the central line?

  6. Was just on it and on it for the outside part of the tracks – my sympathies to you.

  7. If I was you I wouldn’t put that bottle on the seat and then drink from it🤢

  8. Thought that was a vibe next to your bottle, very confused for a second there 😅

  9. You might want to wipe down your stuff, those seats are… yikes.

  10. Central line in the heat is absolutely awful – thoughts with you buddy, good luck!

  11. I feel like a piece of leather that’s about to be served up in Angus Steakhouse after 10 minutes on the Victoria line

  12. Sending my thoughts and prayers 😭 also, get a nice aluminium water bottle! That way the water will stay lovely and cold and not turn into bath water by the time you get thirsty.

  13. Nice LRB bag. I took mine to Italy and took some pictures with it. Is there a LRB sub?? There should be. Also, yeah it’s hot 🔥

  14. Freeze that bottle half full. Top it up with cold water before you leave. Icy water plus you won’t believe how much just holding it will help.

Plus, if you’ve not drunk it by the end of the journey, you can pop a tea bag in….

  15. Don’t throw your life away for a few minutes. Walk, cycle, take the bus even. Google maps doesn’t know what it’s saying.

  16. Freeze your bottle of water overnight, and you will have a lovely ice water by the time you get to the tube.
Watch out for the drips though

  17. Just got back on the Central from Saint Pauls heading back to Northolt, it was a bit warm, but happily (off peak), I did my normal thing and grabbed a perch at the end of the coach near the window. Still got shit graffiti, crap upholstery, and a speaker announcement system that didn’t work. Standard. I burnt my clothes in the street and basted myself in bleach when I got home, now just waiting for the inevitable ailments from the joys of ‘tube air’.

  18. Why don’t they have bloody AC on the tubes and buses in 2025! The newer trains on the district/Hammermsith & city/Circle lines AC is weak. I don’t use the Elizabeth line much, there must be AC on that line right? The trains in NY in the summer heat is relief, it’s like walking into a fridge. A nice consistent cold air. London is so far behind. If you have hyperhydrosis it’s even worse. 🥵💦💦💦

  19. The years of arse dust within mere inches of your drinking bottle mouthpiece

  20. That water was probably boiling in the bottle seconds after this photo was taken.

  21. Reading this from the countryside in Scotland and the memories of central line in summer sent a clear shiver down my spine. Be brave soldier

  22. I saw a bloke in a zipped up North Face coat on the Victoria line earlier. Just how.
