So my company is organising this team event at golf course and my HR send this dress code which sound very very specific. Maybe it’s just me but sounds bit weird.

PS: I have been to few different golf courses in Belgium and never saw such specific dress code.

  4. Idk seems pretty normal for a golf… No surprise you can’t show up with thorn up jeans, a Marcel and a cap.

  5. It’s a golf course, I’m not surprised at all. If I’m a rich Karen having my brunch after an early tee off, I wouldn’t want to see a dude in jean shorts and a red devils tee either. You’re in the quintessential elitist establishment.

  10. This is actually quite casual for a golf course. Certain golf courses still require ties and blazers for ceremonies and in the club house. Tucked tops for men and knee length shorts/skirts for women. Some even have rules for socks.

  12. We had a teambuilding event at a golf club last year. We looked up the website and the dress code was basically the same. None of us actually complied with it though and the people at the golf course did not seem to care. It was just an initation class for a company event, not an “official” golf game so I don’t think it counts… but might depend from club to club!
