The Republic of Moldova takes over the leadership of the South-Eastern Europe Health Network Secretariat. Tatiana Paduraru was appointed head of the SEEHN Secretariat, having previously held this position on an interim basis. The decision was officially confirmed at the 48th plenary meeting of the SEEHN, held on June 17-18 in the Bulgarian capital, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Health notes that this appointment reflects both the recognition of Tatiana Paduraru’s professional skills and the Republic of Moldova’s commitment to promoting regional cooperation in the field of public health.
“With extensive experience in public health, health policy, and international collaboration, Tatiana Paduraru will coordinate the work of the SEEHN Secretariat and contribute to the implementation of the Network’s strategic agenda for the benefit of member countries and the population of the region,” the Ministry’s press release states.
The South-Eastern Europe Health Network is an intergovernmental platform for regional cooperation in the field of health, founded in 2001. Nine countries are members of SEEHN: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Israel, Montenegro, North Macedonia, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, and Serbia.
