  1. They’re not ignoring it. They’re actively choosing to make it worse so that people who give them money can make more money.

  2. Climate change response will be controlled by the insurance companies. Politicians are reactive, but the actuaries and accountants at the re-insurance companies are fully aware of what is going on. As is already clear in places like FL, LA, and CA.

  5. Ultimately the insurance lobby will out muscle the oil and gas lobby. It’ll be too late by then but basically people will default and not be able to afford premiums and claims…and GDP will slip to zero.
