  1. I like the fact you started filming in the UK, and ended up in Australia in the same clip. Magic

  2. It that the Airbus A400M? (I notice the contra rotating props that I saw on How It’s Made(?) a long while back.)

  3. You should release it then. Looks like it’s upto important stuff

  4. Now can we see the video of you taking that video at that angle.

  5. how did you film the entire video? i can picture you bending over backwards to get the whole thing

  6. A400 Atlas! The quad props often rattle the windows from 32,000ft

  7. The c17s and c5s fly overhead almost weekly for a few years where i am, slightly less so since February.

  8. Is this the Atlas that keeps flying round out of Bournemouth? Saw it the other night. Amazing to see.

  9. A400? Probably out of Brize Norton? Lovely vid we get fairly frequently (West Worcs) along with the Voyagers twice a week day usually but they are usually way up there. It is when the A400s or the Hercs do the low passes it can be a WTF moment as when they are flying lower the terrain masks the sound so even though they are louder you have less time to grab your phone and get outside. Also noise cancelling on the work conferencing system works really well… it can shake the windows here and the first thing my co-workers know of it is me shouting “WTF BIGGLES””. Mainly because I didn’t get a chance to get out there and take a picture 🙂

  10. This little fucker keeps bombing past my village at barely treetop level. I tried spraying the hose at it but it wouldn’t go away.

I’ll shake my fist next, see if it gets the message.

  11. You’re lucky…those propellers weren’t spinning very fast, if they went full speed you might not have seen it.

  12. Surprised it can stay in the air considering it’s propellers are going so slowly. *grabs coat*

  13. It’s an AirWhale… probably from the Northlands, trying to find its way home.

I’ve seen a few but never on a Thursday. Odd.

  14. A400, don’t get those around here. I did get a C-17 last week come and do some fun at Manchester airport

  15. Living it Wiltshire I get to see these and C-17s and Voyagers daily I often forget they aren’t common for most places

  16. Nice! I like the A400. Grew up in Swindon so we’d constantly get the old C130 ‘Hercs’ flying over most days multiple times and they remind me a lot of them. Nowadays we usually spot these higher-up, however my work is over what must be a low-level training area as they leave Brize/Fairford as they come over what looks like around 200ft. Immense!

  17. One flew past my house in the Scottish Borders the other week then turned round back to Brize Norton. I guess the aviation equivalent of taking the car for a run

  18. Saw one of the flying over Caerphilly yesterday and wondered what it was

  19. Why do such large planes use propellers and not jet engines? Please explain it like the idiot I am

  20. Get these over my house daily as a training ground about 8 miles away
