Honestly feel like I could cry whenever I have had to use visit london and have to navigate… i often just guess and try to get out asap.
It’s far too overwhelming for me
Bank is the worst
Exit 2 is through the board itself. Platform 9 3/4 style. Every Brit knows this..
I feel like a bloody fool when I reach signs like these 😂
At Bank I just look for the closest exit. It’s still an exit. I don’t care where it takes me, I can easily work my way from there but I just need to get out of there
Exit 2 is closed due to leaves..
Exit 2 is actually the secret shortcut that cuts the length of time wandering down long corridors to less than 2 minutes between DLR and Central Line. It is known only to the staff and Beelzebub (who frequently travels to Bank to collect his dues)
Take the Northern line north up to Euston, cross over to the Northern line (yes, really), then it’s one more stop north.
Do yourself a favour and don’t go to Shunjuku station in Tokyo. It has 53 platforms and more than 200 exits.
Being a super navigationally inept person I was pretty sure at one point I’d just have to make a new life for myself in there.
And there is always that ONE person who cannot simply be satisfied with the great range of choices presented to them and do with it. It’s like “I’m too special I want exit 2” 🙄 well darling that’s not on the menu.
You’re probably a Muggle; that’s why you don’t know how to get there 😉🧙♀️
Exit 2 is not for you
I usually spend 10 minutes studying it, then try each exit, cannot find where I am going, go back down, then try another exit, repeat, and then realise I’m not even at the correct station.
My brain stopped working half way down that sign
It’s not a meme
Get above ground by the nearest exit, and work it out above ground.
Hope you manage to get out!
PS. Welcome to London !
Behind you?
*imagine me here posting that one of the superhero sweating over the buttons, I can’t post gifs apparently*
