I mean this with all due respect this chart is not good.

Only time a tech worker has genuinely lost his job due to AI would be because he can’t do his job without out it, so he is only able to submit garbage work. Companies saying “AI layoffs” just sounds better to investors than any alternative, so that’s what they say.
