Customs officers at the Tudora customs post discovered undeclared injectable products and medical instruments hidden in the personal luggage of a passenger traveling to Chisinau on a bus from Odessa, Ukraine, IPN reports.

Following a detailed inspection of passengers’ luggage, including the use of a mobile X-ray scanner, the contents of one piece of luggage aroused suspicion, prompting a thorough inspection, according to customs authorities.

In the suitcase, among personal belongings, injectable preparations, medical utensils, and other consumables were found, hidden with the intention of being transported illegally.

The luggage belonged to a 51-year-old foreign citizen.

The goods have been seized and may be confiscated if the court so decides, and the person risks being punished for a misdemeanor.
