  1. Don’t care what you think Spain – MIC toys won’t buy themselves. Get on with the program.

Europe needs an army so that the unelected bureaucrat higher ups can secure their positions of power and have the muscle to keep the population or entire member countries in check as they federalize and turn the EU into the United States of Europe. But militarizing without a good reason, and wasting everyone’s tax dollars would be kind of obvious wouldn’t it? Thank God Russia has stepped up to be a source of universal evil we can all rally against. How convenient and timely.

Veto rights? Very annoying, got to get rid of them. Can’t have anyone maintain their sovereignty and follow their own national interests rather do what we tell them to do.

No, you don’t have the right to pick and choose what is best for you, or who you do business with, or buy energy and resources from. The Democracy has already decided that for you. You aren’t going against the principals of democracy are you? Are those Russian talking points I hear?

  2. Great leader this spanish guy. Every position of his is spot on.

Canada should also reject it, I don’t want 5% of my income to ultimately end up in the destruction of foreign countries due to trouble created by the idiots in Washington. Instead let’s focus on diplomacy and use our money for good.

  3. 5% is insane considering we aren’t even at war with anyone. 2%? Fine for a time when we’re fighting a proxy war and need to project strength and Russia. But 5% is active wartime levels of military spending and that is not what’s going on right now nor is there any chance of a NATO war anytime soon.

There are far better things to spend this money on, like say rebuilding Ukraine after the war or investing in green energy to be independent from Russian oil.
