I’m almost 40 and I’ve never witnessed a single administration not start a war in the Middle East.
Trump and the GOP are worse. But both parties are owned by the military industrial complex and we simply do not live in a republic at the federal level when it comes to unleashing the horrors of war.
This doesn’t mean despair, it just means we have to organize unapologetically against war, not just on making sure they declare war through the “proper channels”.
Don’t forget the recessions every Republican administration has brought as well. 🙃

what’s even more fucked up is there’s footage of Netanyahu arguing for each one going back to 1996. United States of Israel apparently.
Seems to be their religious ideals that always gets into it.

Clinton bombed multiple countries. As did Obama. Biden armed and hugely increased funding for Isreals genocide in Gaza against the Palestinians. The problem is the US in its entirety, not just one of your political parties.

As someone who grew up in the 60s, I remember asking my pacifist Quaker parents why they voted Republican. Their answer was that Democrats (Roosevelt – WWII, Truman – Korea, Kennedy – Vietnam) got the US into wars.
As an adult, I realized how silly that justification was with Bush and Bush and now Trump, inserting the US into multiple middle east wars. 🙁
And will blame Democrats for pulling out.
