1. Then donate them to Moldova. They’re trying to modernise beyond the Soviet Cold War hand-me-downs and are constantly warning about violence originating from Transnistria and Gagauzia, especially following the next elections (September)

2. If the statement is true, it makes sense to keep these vehicles for cannibalizing until they’re sent to be scrapped. By then, it makes me wonder if it’s even suitable for Ukraine to sustain them. Can they source parts to keep these ifvs going? To do so, where does Ukraine need to divert its resources? I don’t doubt the frontline troops would appreciate having it.

3. I can see why; these are out of even parts manufacturing, so ANY break and they are done. Best to use them as arts and send Ukraine the better stuff that still has a supply chain.
